Self-Defense/Control Class Instructor
Adam Cheung learned Lion Dance and Kung Fu from Woo Ching White Crane in Boston’s Chinatown,
having grown up in nearby Castle Square. He attended Stonehill College where he started of studying to
be a teacher and was involved with the Brockton Interfaith Community tutoring. He joined Impact
Model Mugging Self Defense as a suited instructor and not having a car, focused on T accessible classes
which were in community centers and homeless shelters mainly. He was a Victim Witness Advocate and
then a Paralegal/Admin in the Narcotics and Asset Forfeiture Unit in at the Suffollk County District
Attorney’s Office in Boston. He taught Kung Fu and lion dance at Kwong Kow Chinese School in
Chinatown and at Nativity Prep in Jamaica Plain. After having children he focused more on young
children’s classes and began teaching at Little Panda Day Mandarin Immersion Day care and other day
care centers as well. Moving to New Jersey he taught at various Chinese Schools and Martial Arts
centers and worked with several Volunteer outreach groups until founding the Garden State Lions with
his students, and is currently teaching Lion Dance and Kung Fu classes at Colton Brown Training center in
Warren, NJ.
