Beyond her professional roles, Kyna is deeply involved in civic and community leadership. She currently serves as Associate Matron and Dean of Education for the Sisters of Solomon Chapter #3, Order of the Eastern Star, where she leads educational initiatives and supports chapter governance. She is also a L.A.C.A. Chaplain, providing spiritual guidance and support to members of her community, and an active member of the NAACP, continuing her lifelong commitment to advocacy, equity, and social justice. Additionally, she serves as a trustee and nurse at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Newark, extending her dedication to faith-based leadership and community service.

At the heart of all her work is a belief in the power of transformation - that with safety, choice, financial literacy, and support, women and children can rebuild their lives and thrive. Through The H.U.S.H. House Foundation, Kyna continues to channel her experience, compassion, and leadership into building a movement that changes lives and strengthens communities.
